As part of a design-build team, 意昂体育 provided preconstruction, construction management, and self-perform services for Schwan Cosmetics’ new 173,000-sq. ft. office and production facility. Built on a greenfield site, the ultra-modern facility’s design maximizes collaboration between office and manufacturing employees.
The two-story office/administrative area is the focal point of the building and includes a fitness center, locker rooms, and a café with computer stations and conference rooms. The administrative area is a conventional steep structure with curtain wall and high-end metal panels.
The single-story production area includes a research and development lab that is accessible via a central spine. The production area has load bearing tilt-up panels with joist and metal deck.
The project included specialty mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to maintain temperature and humidity requirements for cosmetics production and process support utilities for the production equipment.
