State-Of-The-Art Lab Building

This project is a centralized, nano research facility aimed to advance the next generation of engineering systems research, materials, and nanotechnologies in Cambridge. The project scope included the construction of material science, fabrication and imaging facilities along with two levels of particle free cleanroom space. These facilities are shared by over 2,000 researchers across multiple departments and disciplines, who through their interaction and support by state-of-the-art technology, will develop new programs impacting areas such as energy, water, healthcare, transportation and environment. Construction efforts included extensive enabling and coordination of intricate MEP systems within a tight campus site.

This building achieved LEED Platinum.
