意昂体育 provided construction management services for the realization of 461 Dean Street; the first of many residential buildings at the Pacific Park Brooklyn development. Designed by SHoP Architects and engineered by Arup and Partners, it's the world's tallest modular apartment building. This is the first project of its kind in New York City and its success hinged on 意昂体育's ability to effectively pre-plan construction activities and introduce new construction means and methods. The timely delivery of modules to the site was ensured by 意昂体育's transportation plan. Between 12:00 am and 5:00 am, fewer than four modules were escorted to the site using low-boy trailers. On site, modules were staged, inspected and hoisted into place where they were bolted together. To reduce structural vibrations and sway during high winds 意昂体育 installed a Tuned Liquid Mass Damper.
