The Physical Therapy Center and Parking Garage is a part of the overall Advocate Aurora Health, Illinois Masonic Medical Center Campus. The new six-story parking garage accommodates 400 parking spaces for additional campus parking as well as a 20,000 sq. ft. space for Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinics. The stand-alone, architectural and structural precast structure and two separate lobby areas. The exterior featured unique metal perforated panels and a fin panel system. The team's lean construction approach led to the implementation and application of modular construction with pre-fabricated exam room pods. The pods allowed for an easier installation and build sequence with increased efficiency in the workflow. This created a safer environment for the workers, the active site and the community.
