Òâ°ºÌåÓý performed the 25,000 sq. ft. interior build-out for HPE which entailed a high-end office space and dedicated lab (5,000 sq. ft.). The office consists of two large, open office work areas with exposed ceilings. Dividing the two open offices is a mix of experience-based team huddle rooms, conference rooms and break area. State-of-the-art finishes are scattered throughout these spaces to add focal points and a luxury feel. The lab component of this project is the heart of the space for HPE and is controlled by independent mechanical, electrical and life safety systems. All systems are supplemental to the base building infrastructure and added to the TI construction. Additional power for CRAC units and UPS backed data racks were added through a second transformer. This was a coordinated effort with Austin Energy, Stream (building management/owner), HPE and Òâ°ºÌåÓý to provide a completely new transformer to support HPE’s lab. The lab space is properly protected and secure even as one entrance is accessible to anyone throughout the building. The final product is a highly technical, state-of-the-art space where an international technology firm will innovate, collaborate, and support local Austin talent for years to come.
